Our main research interests lie in the study of electronic properties of condensed matter, and various statistical models. Recently we have been studying superconductivity, magnetism, and their interplay in strongly correlated electronic systems, where interactions between electrons play a crucial role. Examples include high-temperature superconductivity, and low-dimensional quantum spin systems. We are also working on a project to develop the Density Matrix Renormalization Group (DMRG) method, which is quite effective to treat models of low dimensional magnets and related materials. Quantum information is also one of our research interest.
